Big A, the name of our Swan 55 Yacht, offers you the lifetime experience of sailing amongst some of the most spectacular senery you're ever going to encounter. You'll experience huge limestone sea-montains with sheer vertical cliffs that rise out of an aquamarine sea.

There are hiden tidal caves that lead to luminesent lagoons enclosed within the center of these islands. Pristine white sandy beaches perfect for snorkeling and swimming and secluded coves and bays where you can anchor, relax and soak up this wonderful environment.

With no fixed schedule, you can decide entirely on your own where you want to go, what you'll do and when you'll do it, of course, we're always on hand to offer you our knowledge and experience in sailing these waters if you so desire.

Our Boat, BIG A is a Classic Swan 55. She truely epitomizes the grace and quality of a Marque. You can Sail with her through the gentle swell of the Andaman Sea and discover the unforgetable beauty of the Greater Phuket Region.

Once swift under sail, she handles beautifully under all conditions. She is perfect for the King's Cup Cruising Division which she won in 1994 with speed combined with comfort. In the following years, she has always placed among the top three place getters.

Big A offers plenty of space and quality workmanship for the after sailing relaxation. She is equipped with 3 double cabins, full galley and lounge. There is also a TV, video and stereo installed for your viewing and listening pleasure.

The Yacht features top of the line safety and navigation equipment as well as a 3.5 kw generator. The tender is an Avon Dinghy equiped with a 6.5 hp Johnson outboard.

The Austrian captain of BIG A, Horst Lakits, is a highly experienced skipper who has twice circumnavigated the globe over the past 30 years. His English is as perfect as is his German and Swedish. He is an expert in the local waters around Phuket and far beyond in the Andaman Sea.

Together with his mechanical and nautical skills, Horst Lakits has a pleasant personality which makes him a preferred captain. He is dedicated to making your sailing vacation a memorable experience as he loves to guide adventure seekers to new horizons in this amazing part of the world.
