Kayaking & Climbing
Kayaking
Your kayak adventure can be as tame as you wish. Sitting in secluded coves watching wildlife or viewing orchids is something we love. We only offer small group tours. Nature, to us, is personal experiences that allow you to be as intimate.
What is it about a mountain that makes a person want to endeavor to get to the top? Is it the likelihood of an awe-inspiring view that a waits? Is it the feeling of accomplishment at doing something that not just anyone can do? Perhaps it’s a combination of the two, along with a realization that few, if any, have treaded this route before.
The waterways of Southern Thailand offer some of the most stunning river views and seascapes to be found anywhere in the world and their bio-diversity draws visitors from all corners of the globe in ever increasing numbers.
Climbing
Mountains harbor the last bastion of old-growth and primary jungle in tropical Thailand and across the globe. Almost everything in nature that is beyond easy reach is still there in its pristine state. That is the bottom line. Unfortunately, humans across the world have altered nearly everything that was alterable.
Nonetheless, pure nature can be yours. You can see the unaltered realm. In tropical Southern Thailand, the ground is supposed to be covered with greenery, big trees, water and rocks. Much of it still is. Our Khao Sok National Park kayaking trip is aptly labeled a "soft adventure". It's our easiest small group tour and the perfect vacation in Thailand. The pace is very slow and easy as the main focus of this trip is spotting . The birding in Khao Sok is superb and the wildlife sightings are astonishing. Khao Sok is by far the best eco tour in southern Thailand to view wildlife!
Limestone preserves hidden valleys and lagoons. It is within this territory that pristine life exists. No one sees it; no one hears about it, until now. The limestone karsts topography in Khao Sok National Park is some of the highest in the world. The tallest is 960 meters high! This dwarfs anything in famous Phang Nga Bay.

Dive Trips
Everyday from Monday - Saturday to
King Cruiser - Shark Point - Koh Dok Mai
King Cruiser
Fact: Car ferry wreck - Artificial reef
Want to see: Barracuda, Jacks, tuna, fusiliers
Diving: Mild to strong Currents - 10 to 20 meters visibility
Supervised beginners to advanced divers
King Cruiser, On the 4th of May 1997 the 85 meter passenger ferry King Cruiser on a routine run to Phi Phi Island made history by straying several kilometers off course and hitting the Anemone Reef. With a huge hole ripped through her belly the ship went down in less than an hour and provided the Phuket diving community, at long last, with her own artificial reef. At 25 meters you'll find the engine room and car, deck. Moving up to 18 metes you'll find the passenger section which has the heads, bar and lots of tables and chairs. Even though the ceiling is pretty low it is relatively safe to penetrate as the doors are broken off. At 15 meters you'll find the captain's cabin and wheel house. The reef is teeming with life and it's proximity to Shark Point and Anemone Reef has undoubtedly had a lot to do with it's rapid population growth.
Shark Point
Fact: Limestone pinnacle - Gardens of hard & soft Corals
Want to see: Trocicals, Clown fish, Leopard sharks
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 10 to 20 meters visibility
All levels of Diver
Shark point (Hin Musang in Thai) is a marine sanctuary that derives it's name from the Leopard shark that are encountered resting on the sandy bottom. The reef comprise three pinnacles, the largest breaking the surface and appearing as a barren rock outcropping. Beneath the surface it's a different story as this amazingly multicolored reef offers the diver vast schools of tropical's, colorful soft corals and vibrant sea fans that decorate the limestone pinnacles. Currents can be brisk at this site but they tend to run parallel to the reef sections and allow for an excellent drift dive back to the boat. To protect Shark point fragile eco-system the Thai government declared this site a marine sanctuary in 1992 and as such has preserved it for one and all. All forms of commercial fishing, marine life collection or other forms of harmful activity (spear fishing) are prohibited.
Koh Doc Mai

Want to see: Tropical's, Moray Eels, Octopus, Sharks
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 10 to 15 meters visibility
All levels of Diver
Koh Doc Mai is a limestone island that rises vertically from the seabed. Some say it looks like a muffin with the jungle clad top flowing out over the sheer cliffs. Although the visibility at this site is generally not as good as others, this dive is noted for the variety of reef fish and as such you might be lucky enough to encounter Leopard Sharks, Moral Eels, Octopus and turtles. The east-side of the island contests of a vibrant garden of yellow tube corals as well as two small caverns. An interesting alternative to the pinnacle dives as it is one of the best wall dives in the area.

Racha Noi & Racha Yai Island
Racha Noi
Fact: Granite Island - Gardens of hard & soft Corals
Want to see: Sharks, Manta Rays, other Pelgic's
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 10 to 25 meters visibility
Recommended for experienced divers only
Further south than Racha Yai is a popular dive site for the more experienced divers where the depths are generally greater and the currents stronger than at its sister island. The underwater topography is also remarkably different as you will encounter huge granite boulders that offer good opportunities to see Manta Rays and Whale Sharks. The northern tip of the island offers multilevel diving along a large pinnacle where you're likely to encounter Reef Sharks and Stingrays. Off the southern point is a nice drift dive along with some spectacular scenery as you find yourself on top of large rock formations surrounded by deep water. On the southwest side there is a wooden ship-wreck at 27m that draws a lot of interesting reef fish. The diving here is definitely more challenging than Racha Yai but the rewards are much greater.
Racha Yai

Want to see: Tropical's, Turtles, Stingrays, Moray Eels
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 15 to 25 meters visibility
All levels of Diver, Good for beginners
With it's 10 dive sites Racha Yai offers some of the best year around diving in the Phuket area. On the west side of the island is beautiful Bungalow Bay famous for its clear waters and soft coral gardens. The best diving at Racha Yai, however, is along the East Coast where good visibility and prevailing currents allow for a gentle drift dive along sloping rocky reefs that are abundant in hard coral forests. For more advanced divers, off the Ter Bay there is an interesting wreck dive in depths of 25-35 meters. You'll find large schools of false barracudas hovering over the reef while on the reef it self expect to find octopus, cuttlefish and the more common tropicals. Divers of all levels and experience can visit Racha Yai as the diving is easy and gentle.

Anemone Reef
Fact: Limestone Pinnacle - Gardens of hard & soft Corals
Want to see: Tropical's, Clown fish, Lion fish
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 10 to 20 meters visibility
All levels of Diver
This unique dive-site is a huge lime-stone pinnacle that soars 30 meters up from the ocean floor to sit 4 meters beneath the surface where it abruptly ends and drops back to a sandy bottom. The barely submerged reef is a well-known shipping hazard (see King Cruiser Wreck) and is located less than a mile north of Shark Point. The Thai name for this site is Hin Jom which means underwater rock and although not as colorful as Shark Point, the site is famous for its vast fields of sea anemones that cling to every conceivable surface and swing and sway with the current. The profusion of sea anemones and the nutrient-rich water are a magnet to a constant parade of reef fish seeking food and shelter. Enormous schools of tropical's, snappers, groupers and colorful clown fish, along with larger game-fish like tuna and barracuda as well as the occasional leopard shark can be seen here.

Hin Daeng & Hin Muang
Koh Ha Yai, Koh Rok, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are the principal diving areas furthest south in Thailand literally due west/southwest from Koh Lanta. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are the more popular sites and rate as certainly two of the best dive sites in Thailand.

Want to see: Tropical's, Sharks other Pelagic
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 10 to 20 meters visibility
Advanced adventure divers
Hin Daeng is 3m clear of the surface with the southern side dropping to 60m plus. This is the steepest & deepest drop in Thailand's waters. The rock itself is quite barren but offers the opportunity to see large pelagics and fantastic underwater gardens on the shallower shelving eastern side where two ridges descend to 40m plus. Barracuda are a common sighting as well as Fusiliers.
Hin Muang
Fact: Steep underwater pinnacles and islands - Hard & soft Corals
Want to see: Tropical's, Sharks other Pelagic
Diving: Moderate to strong Currents - 10 to 20 meters visibility
Advanced adventure divers
Hin Muang is only a few hundred meters from Hin Daeng and is completely submerged. The rock, shaped like Ayres Rock (central Australia) is 20m wide and 200m long. It is covered with purple soft corals and anemones, hence it's name (Muang is purple in Thai). Many sea fans of varying colors decorate the steep sides and it has a remarkable amount of life on it compared to its neighbor.

Cashew Nut Factory
The cashew tree is a thick-leaf-shrub with average 6 meter in high and 8 meter in width when fully grown. The area of one rai (1600 sm.) can contain twenty-five cashew trees to yield 300 kg of cashew nut raw materials. The trees begin to bear fruits after 4 years old. Bearing period is from February - April only.
A cashew apple is red-orange or light yellow when ripe. A nut hangs outside at the base of the fruit. After harvesting, the nuts must be air-dried to be stored and consumed throughout the year. They must be boiled for 30 minutes so that the second shell becomes hard and can be removed from the nuts, mainly by hand using a special tool.
Then, the nuts are roasted in the oven at 70 degree Celsius for up to 14 hours to make it easy to peel off a thin layer attached in the nuts and to obtain ready-to-eat nuts which are light yellow in color. Once the thin layer has been taken out, the nuts are sorted by size and the bad or fragmented nuts are removed. Finally, the nuts are seasoned to varieties of flavors and packed for sales.

Floating Tank
Scientists estimate that up to 90% of the brain's normal workload is caused by the effects of routine environmental stimulation the combined effects of gravity, temperature, touch, light and sound on the muscles, nervous system and sense organs of the body.
The float tank screens out these external physical stimuli, creating a pure state of "sensory" relaxation. Under these unique conditions your body has a chance to restore its natural powers of self regulation, while you simply lie back and rediscover the latent abilities of a deeply relaxed mind.
While you are floating, your ears are below the surface of the solution, cutting out external sounds. Many people, however, find that gentle ambient music accelerates and intensifies the relaxation process. The floating tank powerful underwater speaker system creates the feeling that you are floating in a sea of music, enhancing the rich dream-like quality of the experience.
The temperature inside the capsule is kept at a constant 34.5 degrees Celsius - relaxed skin temperature. As a result, the nerve endings which cover the surface of the skin no longer perceive any sense of separation between the skin and the silky mineral solution which surrounds it.
In the dark, weightless tranquility of the float tank, the boundaries of your body seem to dissolve and vanish. As you enter progressively deeper levels of relaxation, even your body seems to "disappear" from conscious awareness because of the sharp reduction in signals being transmitted through the nervous system to the brain.
Free from all external stimulation, your body can achieve a state of relaxation which is deeper, purer and more beneficial than sleep. With no body to look after, your mind can attend to other business.

Bird's Nest Shop
Phi Phi Le lies just offshore, and is almost all sheer cliffs, with a few caves and a sea lake formed by a cleft between two cliffs that allows water to enter into a bowl-shaped canyon. It is uninhabited but has several nice beaches, but its major claim to fame is the caves that are the favorite nesting ground for the migratory Fork tail Swift. The swifts who favor lofty limestone caves and cliffs as a nesting habitat. Today they still nimble up precarious bamboo structures in a huge cave on Koh Phi Phi Le to collect the nests of tiny swifts. Between January and April each year, thousands of these birds descend on Phi Phi Le to spend about 2 weeks in the caves building nests held together by their saliva. These famous nests are prized by Chinese gourmets for bird’s nest soup. The island holds a second cave (dubbed Viking Cave) whose walls are decorated by what appear to be Viking ships.
Bird's Nest soup !
How did the Chinese develop a taste for that exotic delicacy known as bird’s nest soup? Legend offers several explanations. According to one, a group of sailors were shipwrecked on an island in Southeast Asia and were saved from starvation by the tiny nests. Another legend claims that a eunuch named San Pao was sent by the Ming emperor on an expedition to the Malay Peninsula, where he was served the nests; impressed by their taste and, even more, by their alleged medicinal powers, he brought some back to his royal patron.
Whatever the origins, the culinary use of bird’s nests became a Chinese passion. One much misunderstood in the West, where nests are thought of in terms of twigs, feathers, and other unpalatable ingredients. The nests produced by the tiny brown and charcoal colored swift known as 'Collocalia esculenta' and consumed by the Chinese are a far cry from the western conception. The material from which the nests are constructed is a gluey secretion discharged from two glands under the bird’s lower jaw; this comes out in long strands that soon dry into a strong, resilient substance after exposure to air.
